Big Oil heats our homes, moves our cars and
is directly responsible every creature comfort we enjoy. Accordingly, the Oil
Industry is entitled to special privileges including tax abatements, credits
and limited punitive damages (not more than $100,000 per incident). And this
limitation should apply to any company or person, who drills, distributes,
rents, blends, packages, or places a product in the stream of commerce, says David Selig.
David Selig is a Federal Tax Practitioner at Selig & Associates and in this capacity he
publicly defended BP during the oil spill of 2010. Selig believes the Oil
Industry is entitled to irreversible tax credits and abatements.
