After reviewing hundreds of potential Pro Bono cases, a decision is
reached in favor of OJ Simpson
We’re proud of our past accomplishments, says

of domestic and sexual violence, displaced persons, and inner city small-businesses,

represent OJ Simpson before the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board without
fee or remuneration.
Last year we provided pro bono tax representation to victims of domestic violence, rape
victims, the physical abused, former substance abusers, undocumented

But that was then and this is now, said Selig. In my opinion, OJ Simpson
presents the most compelling case I’ve ever seen. Specifically, he’s
incarcerated and is paying his debt to society, but the heavy-handed imposition
of a federal and state tax liability will imprison him financially, even after
he’s been paroled. Tax debts can ruin your life, and given our country’s high
rate of recidivism, burdening an ex-convict with a huge tax debt doesn’t seem
like cricket, says Selig.
*In 2008
OJ was convicted on 12 counts of armed robbery and kidnapping and sentenced to
up to 33 years in prison, with the possibility of parole after nine years.
Thereafter, the IRS filed a federal tax lien.
OJ is repaying his debt to society at the Lovelock Correctional Center
in Lovelock, Nevada.
